There will be a new use for the industrial heritage of de Koekfabriek van Verkade in Zaandam. Part of it will be a new café / restaurant called ‘de Koekfabriek’.
It is decided to build a concrete bar in elements in this industrial environment, the shape of which is inspired by road barriers. Cabinets, cooling elements and sinks made of wood (concrete plywood) are placed on the barrier.
