TU Delft aerospace engineering

The faculty of aerospace engineering from the Technical University of Delft wanted a module to present prototypes and new materials in the reception. The modular cabinet stands in the space a kind of three dimension luxaflex. The vertical faces of the slats are half as wide as the horizontal faces. By connecting two different modules together the cabinet “moves” through the space. The range of movement is determines specially for this space. The square spaces inside originate from the mounting of the module. The spaces are filled with acrylaat, this results in cabinet showcases and constructive stiffness.

The cabinet is build from 9 mm Birch plywood, pasted with grey HPL, acrylaatplates and book screws.
